Headlight Restoration
Restore clarity to cloudy headlights.
Cloudy, yellowed or dull headlights can affect your vehicle’s appearance and reduce how much light reaches the road. Our headlight restoration service carefully improves the clarity of suitable lenses.
We assess each headlight before starting, then work the surface to reduce oxidation and light haze. The final result depends on the lens condition and how deeply the damage has affected it.
Some lenses have deep scratches, severe damage or deterioration inside the plastic. These issues may not be fully corrected by restoration, so we’ll check the headlights first and explain what’s realistic for your vehicle.
Ideal for vehicles affected by persistent smoke, food, damp, pet or general interior odours.

A good option for:
Cloudy or hazy headlight lenses
UV fading or surface oxidation
Light surface scratches
Reduced clarity caused by deterioration on the outside of the lens
Lenses that can be safely wet-sanded and machine-polished
Restoration may not be suitable for
Cracked, chipped or badly damaged lenses
Moisture or damage inside the headlight
Anyone expecting a guaranteed “like new” result
Deep scratches or damage that may remain visible after sanding and polishing
Lenses where the protective surface is failing extensively
Not sure if your headlights are suitable?
Send us a few clear photos of both lights in daylight. We’ll assess their condition and let you know whether restoration is likely to help.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the most popular questions.
How much does headlight restoration cost? Headlight restoration is £60 per pair.
What does the service include? We wet sand the lenses with 1500, 2000 and 2500 grit, machine polish them in two stages, then apply a protective coating.
Will my headlights look brand new? Restoration can improve cloudy, faded or oxidised headlights, but the result depends on their condition. Deep scratches, previous sanding damage or internal deterioration may limit the improvement.
Can you restore just one headlight? The listed £60 price is for a pair. Contact us with photos if you only need one lens restored.
How long does headlight restoration take? Allow around 30 Minutes. The time can vary with the condition of the lenses.
Does the coating protect the headlights? Yes. We apply a protective coating after polishing to help protect the restored surface. It does not prevent all future wear or damage.
Can you remove scratches from headlights? Light surface marks may improve during restoration. Deep scratches may remain, especially if they have damaged the lens material.
Do I need to send photos before booking? Photos are helpful, particularly if the lenses have deep scratches, been sanded before or look damaged internally. We can review them and advise what result may be achievable.
